Bought a new computer for avo

beastie.frontfree.net melt and rebuilt
Well, the story has end, beastie.frontfree.net ends its life because an overheat caused by mechanism fault of its fan on CPU and power supply. The hardware components were then replaced with some new ones.

Plan for my own server
As some of you may know, I am planning to buy a server with some friends and take it in an IDC by the time I will be graduated from the university. The server will be primarily do personal web, ftp hosting, as well as mail service and DNS service.
Mid-term delphij.net migration plan
As mentioned before, I will finally get the whole delphij.net out from beastie.frontfree.net because I will be finally graduated from the university and hence I must give maintainership (at least the principal maintainership) to someone who still live in the campaus so they can better solve problems encounted with. Well, I missed the post so much, as I have acted as principal maintainer and security officer there for more than three years: I became the security officer in 2000 when I joined the Association of Computer Machinery at School of Computer Science, Beijing University of Technology because nobody else in my grade can operate a Linux box :-)

准备组织一次小规模的北京地区FreeBSD'er活动
用中文写了，因为这次活动只涉及北京地区的FreeBSD'er。昨天跟liue, hd商量基本确定下周六下午在网络中心的会议室(地点待定)举行一次小型的活动(主要是因为场地限制)，内容暂定为ports维护(如何写和维护port)、内核优化等等。

Back from swimming pool
Being more and more weighty, I have decided to have a change. Well, not only “I decided”, but also forced to have that decision.
This is the first time I went to a swimming pool. Given that a certificate about my ability to swim in a deep pool is a prerequisite of being in the pool, I have taken a test.

不可抗力
有的时候觉得自己变得容易妥协，有的时候觉得自己变得更加强硬，但是……不可抗力，呵呵，我不知道前天写这句话的时候我脑子里的念头是什么，无奈？愤怒？也许都不是——我没有理由去责备别人，特别是看到一群人疲惫地完成了一项艰苦的工作之后，有点想骂人，但又有些不忍。
有人说我喜欢抬杠，然而，其实我比谁都更喜欢妥协，因为这费的劲更小，虽然我也许不经常妥协……

断网进行时：周四、周五、周六、周日……
有人在不停地催我，我有点急想骂那人，但终于还是忍住了，因为其实我也没有办法——爱谁谁吧，眼下尽快把毕业设计做完是第一位的，其他的全是瞎掰。我想起了老汪的那句“你得把A逼出屎来，然后A再把B逼出屎来，然后事情就办了”，这话最早还是出自liu8，但是，那什么，好像现在我是A，而网络中心是B，然而，恐怕断网并不是凭网络中心一己之力能够解决的，因为他们的工作人员最近几天也在满负荷运转。
学校已经断网这么多天了，真不知道那家公司在搞什么，在做什么，他们之前有计划没有，遇到了什么问题，解决到什么地步，打算再折腾多久，说得难听一点，是不是在拿学校的设备在练手：上千万人民币的项目，一家虽然不算太有名，但总还是有一些经验的公司，也是学校的老牌合作商，看过他们的投标书，应该还算是正规吧，应该也有相当多的施工经验吧，可是就是不知道怎么一到关键时刻就那么多意外，那么多状况。把设备调好了拿来，分阶段并行安装，出问题回退到前一阶段，用的着连着调这么久吗？

正在寻找一切混沌的出口，不知道能不能找到，不知道找到了，是否只是从一种混沌跃迁到另一种混沌，然而我知道自己必须走出混沌……
昨天忙了整整一天，错过了小学同学的聚会。
最近的事情太多了，多到应付不过来，多到让我觉得overloaded，身心俱疲，论文，工作，学业，国际会议，等等。端木那天转述他的老板的话我觉得很有道理：先去做那些重要的事情，而不是那些紧急的事情——我想起了自己毕业设计里面的调度系统，实现的实际上也就是这样一些简单的规则，节点很多，而调度评估某个任务不重要或重要的指标，就是请求数和确认数的加权和。

Command line I am using to analyze script execution time on Apache log
grep cgi-bin scripttime | cut -f6,8 -d' ' | sed -E s/\\\?.+//g | grep cgi-bin | sort | uniq -c | sort > statis
Where scripttime is a log with %T (script execution time) log. The above command line will obtain execution time, script name from log, then sort it by the execution time, then have a counted unique.
