junsu's multiplatform FreeBSD Kernel GCOV patch

It can be obtained here:
http://www.arbornet.org/~junsu/gcov.diff

gcov is a part of gcc. If I did not misunderstood, kernbb can do something similiar, while it is not so convinent.

Here is some useful information from jkoshy.

My patch focus two new feature:

  1. Enable gcov for all platform besides i386.
  2. Support .ko gcov

kernbb is still used with my patch. I didn’t change the usage of kernbb.

Linux has a fs to expose the files to userland. It is more user friendly. However I think gcov is not for end-user but for kernel-hacker. It is low priority to make it easy use than current.
