虽然前几天的装机不太让人愉快，但总算是买回来了，并且，基本上如我所愿，使用了Intel Pentium 4处理器和Intel自己的芯片组，配置如下：

今天去海龙装了一台新的机器(这台机器将取代现在的beastie.frontfree.net)，非常(我很想用混账这个词!)的是，2层的那家Intel代理竟然拒绝解释为什么他们的865GBF为什么没有集成千兆NIC芯片！！他们的解释是Intel没有在中国大陆范围内销售过包含千兆NIC的版本，我认为这是不能接受的，因为在无数的网站上我看到的这张主板有包括千兆NIC的版本，并且是在中国大陆销售的。此外，这张主板将CPU(P4 2.8G-E)识别为P4 2.8-C。

最近发生了很多事情，一直想写点什么，但就像 www.delphij.net 的工程一样，planned，然后，就放在那儿了。但我终于决定把一些事情写出来，按照Jeffrey的说法，有的事情憋在心里，最后会拧成一个结，而带来更大的问题。

Well, the story has end, beastie.frontfree.net ends its life because an overheat caused by mechanism fault of its fan on CPU and power supply. The hardware components were then replaced with some new ones.

Today I have purchased a new computer for avo. Considering that the computer is intended to be mainly used for text processing, its configuration is not a relatively advanced one.

I hate them, really, really hate them, they are abusing the machine and I have to spend much time on dealing with the mess they generated.

From Slashdot: The Ctrl+Alt+Del Inventor, David Bradley, has retired.

An earlier article, The Guy Responsible For Ctrl+Alt+Del, shows a brief story of the combination. He said that this was originally desiginated for debugging, and of course not for a Windows user to input his/her password :)
