With alu@ and ld@, we have finally moved the server.

FreeBSD Apache2 port has been RCng’ifyed since 2.0.49_2. This will unify the behavior of ports more.

alu连夜帮忙配了一台备份的MX，总算是能够让断网期间少丢两封邮件了……这台备份的MX将在beastie.frontfree.net恢复时将邮件传递给它。我这都是在折腾什么？:|

Some search engines has grabbed some of my links out (Primarily, MP3). So I put some limits there. This is because I don’t want FreeBSDChina to be a MP3 downloading site - It’s harmful for the server, and we don’t want it.

As some of you may know, I am planning to buy a server with some friends and take it in an IDC by the time I will be graduated from the university. The server will be primarily do personal web, ftp hosting, as well as mail service and DNS service.

Well, the story has end, beastie.frontfree.net ends its life because an overheat caused by mechanism fault of its fan on CPU and power supply. The hardware components were then replaced with some new ones.

The migration apparantly gots its result, 30 times of increase here. No old hardware any more!!

I don’t want to do this, but I can not bear beastie.frontfree.net any more. It continously generates troubles for me, and in addition, the configuration is too poor for me, not only compared to the other servers I moderate, but also to the modern computers.
