tarsier

今天 陈总 去机房把NetGear换成了一台Cisco的29系列产品。但愿能把捣乱的人抓住……

除了这个之外，也试试看Cisco对我做的一些TCP协议变动是否支持良好。

前一阵观察发现tarsier的负载主要来自于对内存的过度使用。遂为其增加了1GB内存，目前做压力测试中。

压力测试工具为make -j4 universe

附加了一系列自己的patch，reboot。

同时也将所有静态页改为用lighttpd来提供服务。

The service there is expected to be down for a while. I think I can get everything back tomorrow.

Colin is very effective man that has made some changes to the kernel, and so@ has approved this, and 5.4-RELEASE gets its first patchlevel.

I’m happy that this did not forced me to go to the hosting provider :-)

I have upgraded tarsier from 5.4-RC1 to 5.4-RELEASE right now. It goes smoothly.

Hey I know it makes the uptime go to 0, but it’s a sign of patching known issues, while they are not so serious :-)
